Patient Care Providers, CNA or Medical Assistants

Country Life Assisted Living is a licensed assisted living in Lytle, TX. Nurse owned and operated. 

We are currently hiring for all patient-caregiver positions, including day shifts, night shifts, and weekend shifts. This is a busy facility that runs at full patient capacity, so please serious inquiries only. If you would like to be considered for a position, please answer the questions in this job post. Please be aware that if hired, you must have reliable transportation and are also required to have a TB (tuberculosis) skin test completed within the first week of employment.

We are looking for a competent Caregiver to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. It’s an often demanding job as you will have to be available for most of the day and week. But, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high-quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients take prescribed medication
  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
  • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
  • Help clients with physical therapy exercises
  • Plan and prepare meals
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Be a pleasant and supportive employee
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

  • Experience as a caregiver a plus but not required. We will provide on-the-job training.
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

  • High school diploma or equivalent
